She holds a BA in Political Science and Spanish from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and earned her Juris Doctor from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 1996. She is licensed in the State of Illinois and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Ms. Kerpel is also a member of American Immigration Lawyers Association(AILA).
